My wife, and myself all saw Dr. Piner and she was amazing. Unfortunately she left and in came Dr. Penney. At first we were excited to hear we that this doctor could also see our daughter. Saving us a trip to Bangor. That's where the joy ends because SVH family care is a nightmare now. Dr. Penney books 3 months out and she makes you get a physical. My wife waited and of course she is running behind, left my wife sitting there for 2 hours finally she saw a Nurse and once she found out that my wife was also sick from the flu, she canceled the physical and said she would see my wife about her cold now. Meaning we now have to wait another 3 months, and of course they did nothing for my wife besides take her temperature. What a scam hospital. I would have sword by Dr. Piner she actually cared for the well being of her patients. Dr. Penney is a "treat em and street em" kinda doctor. Please head my warning, you could call with a broken leg and she would schedule you 3 months out.
I've been with SVH Family care for about 8 years. ALL the Doctor's and NP's, Nurses, receptionists even, have been a delight!!! They really take the time to know you!! I read a bad review moments ago and must say that if you need to be seen, they WILL fit you in, most times, that same day!!!! They are going to be missed because I moved out of the area and have to see an entirely new staff. If I could, I would have moved them HERE!! HAHA!! :)
I've been a patient of Dr. Penney for 5+ years. I've followed her to this practice as well. She is an amazing doctor, she always takes her time to really listen to you. She has been a godsend for our family. Highly recommended.
